The Corps of Engineers of the Indian Army has built 3D-printed permanent defences for the first time in the desert region.

A 3D-printed shelter for officers and junior commissioned officers has been built in the desert area, according to a news statement from the Indian Army.

According to the press release, four additional comparable double-storey shelters are also being built in Zuluk’s Eastern Theatre.

6.<\/td>The LEED-IT Summit was held in Sweden and India.<\/strong><\/td>On November 15, Sweden and India sponsored the LEED-IT Summit in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, in conjunction with COP 27.

The LEED-IT programme is concentrated on the objective of a low-carbon transition and seeks to lead industrial transformation.

The transition to a low-carbon economy might be decades delayed without co-development, according to Bhupendra Yadav, minister of environment, forests, and climate change. Co-development is the only way to achieve the targets the world has set for itself.

He said that the industrial sector’s transition to a low-carbon economy would have numerous other advantages in addition to lowering greenhouse gas emissions.

The Conference Statement was adopted by the LEAD-IT members, capping off the summit.

It highlights the dedication to advancing the low-carbon transition.
Existing members are also dedicated to helping rising economies and new members with technical support.

The LEED-IT Meeting Statement was made public following the summit at COP 27’s India Pavilion.

7.<\/td>The Madhya Pradesh government has put the Panchayats Extension to Scheduled Areas (PESA) Act into effect.<\/strong><\/td>With the active participation of the Gram Sabhas, the PESA Act aims to protect the tribal community against exploitation.

The Gram Sabhas in Scheduled Areas are granted unique authority, specifically for the administration of natural resources.

A formal announcement was made by President Droupadi Murmu at a gathering held in Shahdol district to celebrate “Janjatiya Gaurav Divas” and was organised by the Madhya Pradesh government.

This quarter saw imports of $436.81 billion, a 33.12% increase over the corresponding period in 2021\u201322.

The ready-made clothing, engineering, petroleum products, and textiles industries all experienced negative growth in October.

According to government statistics, India’s exports to important countries like the US, UAE, China, Bangladesh, the UK, and Saudi Arabia experienced a decline in October.

The key reasons for weak economic growth globally are global inflation, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the simmering China-Taiwan problem, and supply disruptions.

The World Trade Organization (WTO)<\/strong> predicts that while global trade will grow by 3.5 percent this year, it will only grow by one percent in 2023.<\/td><\/tr>

In 2022, Asia’s two most populated regions were Eastern and South-Eastern Asia with 2.3 billion people and Central and Southern Asia with 2.1 billion.

China and India make up the majority of the population in these two regions with over 1.4 billion people each.

The World Population Prospect 2022 research predicts that in 2023, India would overtake China as the world’s most populous country.

Only eight countries\u2014Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Tanzania<\/strong>\u2014will see population growth of more than 50% by 2050.

The average life expectancy worldwide in 2019 was 72.8 years, up more than 9 years from 1990.

It is anticipated that by 2100, the average lifespan will be 77.2 years.<\/td><\/tr>
12.<\/td>Power System Operation Corporation Limited shall now go by the name Grid Controller of India Limited.<\/strong><\/td>On November 14, POSOCO, India’s national grid operator, made this announcement.

The name change was designed to better reflect the crucial role that grid operators play in preserving the continuity, integrity, reliability, economy, and resilience of the Indian power system.

It is a good idea to change the name from “Grid Controller of India Limited,” as it occupies a special position at the centre of India’s energy system and connects people to the energy they consume.

The National Load Despatch Center (NLDC)<\/strong> and the “Grid Controller of India Limited (GRID-INDIA)”<\/strong> run five (5) Regional Load Despatch Centers (RLDCs)<\/strong>.

Additionally, Grid-India has been identified as the focal point for significant power sector reforms.

In October, the sector for food products fell to 8.33%.

The sector for vegetable prices fell from 39.66% in September to 17.61% in October.

The gasoline and electricity category fell from 32.61% to 23.17% in October.
