The gang used insider access, mobility, and tech tools to build trust and drain wallets:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Data Theft<\/strong>: Two of the accused were ex-employees of <em>HEXAR Insurance<\/em> (Noida). Before resigning in 2021, they siphoned off customer data.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fake Agents, Real Panic<\/strong>: Using fake IDs and SIM cards, they impersonated insurance executives offering \u201crenewal benefits\u201d and \u201cbonus returns\u201d.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Forged Policy Docs<\/strong>: With access to design software, they created fake policy papers and receipts that looked indistinguishable from the real thing.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mobile Command Centers<\/strong>: Operating from a <em>Thar<\/em> and an <em>XUV300<\/em>, along with rented flats, made their movements difficult to trace.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Money Mule Network<\/strong>: Victim payments were funneled through a web of bank accounts.
