श्लोक / Shlok
कर्पूरगौरं करुणावतारं संसारसारं भुजगेन्द्रहारम्।
Karpūrgaurṃ karuṇāvatarṃ sansārasāraṃ bhujagendrahāram.
(He who is as white as camphor, the embodiment of compassion, the essence of the world, wearing the serpent as a garland.)
सदा वसन्तं हृदयाविन्दे भवं भवानीसहितं नमामि॥
Sadā vasantam hṛdayāvinde bhavam Bhavānī-sahitam namāmi.
(I always bow to that Lord who dwells in the heart and is accompanied by Mother Bhavani.)

जय शिव ओंकारा, हर ॐ शिव ओंकारा।
Jai Shiv Omkāra, Har Om Shiv Omkāra.
(Glory to Shiva, the primal Omkāra; Hail Om Shiva Omkāra.)
ब्रह्मा विष्णु सदाशिव, अर्द्धांगी धारा।
Brahmā Viṣṇu Sadāśiva, ardhhāṅgī dhārā.
(Brahma, Vishnu and eternal Shiva—one stream with half-forms.)

एकानन चतुरानन पंचानन राजे।
Ekānan chaturānan pañcānan rājē.
(The One-faced, Four-faced, Five-faced King.)
हंसासन, गरुड़ासन, वृषवाहन साजे॥
Haṃsāsana, garuḍāsana, vṛṣavāhana sāje.
(Seated on the swan, riding the Garuda, and mounted on the bull.)

दो भुज चारु चतुर्भुज दस भुज अति सोहें।
Do bhuj chāru caturbhuj das bhuj ati sohe.
(Two-armed, beautiful four-armed, ten-armed forms—so splendid.)
तीनों रूप निरखता, त्रिभुवन जन मोहे॥
Tīnõ rūp nirakhtā, tribhuvan jan mohe.
(Seeing these three forms, the three worlds and their people are captivated.)

अक्षमाला, वनमाला, मुण्डमालाधारी।
Akṣamālā, vanamālā, muṇḍamālādhārī.
(He who wears a rosary of beads, a garland of forest flowers, and a necklace of skulls.)
चंदन, मृगमद सोहें, भाले शशिधारी॥
Candana, mṛgamada sohe, bhāle śaśidhārī.
(Smeared with sandal, adorned with musk, with the moon ornament on his forehead.)

श्वेताम्बर, पीताम्बर, बाघाम्बर अंगे।
Śvetāmbara, pītāmbara, bāghāmbara aṅge.
(Clothed in white, clad in yellow, or wearing a tiger skin.)
सनकादिक, ब्रह्मादिक, भूतादिक संगे॥
Sanakādik, Brahmādik, bhūtādik saṅge.
(Attended by sages like Sanaka, by Brahma, and by the hosts of spirits.)

कर के मध्य कमण्डल, चक्र, त्रिशूल धरता।
Kar ke madhya kamaṇḍala, chakra, triśūl dhartā.
(Holding in his hands the water-pot, discus, and trident.)
जगकर्ता, दुखहर्ता, जगपालन करता॥
Jagkartā, duḥkhahartā, jagpālan kartā.
(Creator of the world, dispeller of sorrow, and the sustainer of the cosmos.)

ब्रह्मा विष्णु सदाशिव जानत अविवेका।
Brahmā Viṣṇu Sadāśiva jānata avivēkā.
(Brahma, Vishnu and Sadashiva are known as one without delusion.)
प्रणवाक्षर मध्ये ये तीनों एका॥
Praṇavākṣar madhye ye tīnõ ekā.
(These three are united in the syllable Praṇava — Om.)

काशी में विश्वनाथ विराजत नन्दी ब्रह्मचारी।
Kāśī meṃ Viśvanāth virājata Nandī brahmacārī.
(In Kashi (Varanasi) stands Viśvanāth, accompanied by Nandi and celibate brahmachari.)
नित उठि भोग लगावत, महिमा अति भारी॥
Nita uṭhi bhōg lagāvat, mahimā ati bhārī.
(He daily accepts offerings; his glory is exceedingly great.)

त्रिगुण शिवजी की आरती जो कोई नर गावे।
Trigun Shivji kī āratī jo koī nar gāvē.
(Whoever sings this aarti of Shiva, the three-qualities Lord,)
कहत शिवानंद स्वामी, मनवांछित फल पावे॥
Kahat Shivānand Swāmī, manvānchit phal pāvē.
(says Shivānand Swami, will obtain the desired fruits of the heart.)
