India is one of the Commonwealth’s greatest donors and is dedicated to strengthening its relationships with its other members.

India has set up more than 70 such observatories around the nation in the previous eight years.

Articles 29A (4) and 29A (9) of the Representation of People Act, 1951 were not followed by these 111 registered unrecognised political parties.

A number of registered political parties have been targeted by the Election Commission for claiming tax exemptions.

The Election Commission removed 87 nonexistent political parties from its list earlier this month.

In India, there are over 2,800 registered but unrecognised political parties.

The Indian Navy (IN) and the Directorate General (DG) of Shipping signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on June 20 to make it easier for current and retired Indian Navy personnel to move to the Merchant Navy.

In accordance with the International STCW (Standards for Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) conventions, DG Shipping intends to certify IN employees through this MoU.

The MoU is in line with the government’s priorities for the marine industry, notably the Blue Economy and skilled and trained human resources.

DG Shipping has released specific instructions to carry out this transition under the DGS Order 17 of 2022.

In an effort to acknowledge the significance of public service, the UN launched the UN Public Service Awards (UNPSA) programme in 2003.

The programme was revised later in 2016 to be in line with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
